MARVEL UNIVERSE/EPIC HERO DESTINY
The classic 1/18 Marvel Universe line left a few massive gaps in the X-Men roster—none larger than Mystique's partner, the mutant precog Destiny. To bring this classic comic-book look to life, Destiny combines:
The Base: A classic Marvel Universe Spider-Woman base body and storm hands for some expression and posturing.
The head/likeness: A high-quality cast of a movie Black Widow head sculpt served as the base, with the signature helmet built over the top using Aves Apoxie.
Destiny's silhouette is defined by her weird flowing cape, it was physically fabricated using Procreate putty—allowing for a permanent, dynamic aesthetic flow that preserves full articulation.
For the paintwork, we layered highly pigmented Warhammer (formerly Citadel) acrylics to achieve her striking blue hues. Her signature gold mask was brought to life using AK Interactive Old Gold, creating a rich, burnished metallic sheen that mimics real metal under display lighting.
Hand-Signed Collector's Display Stand
To complete the release, Destiny includes unique custom textured display stand emblazoned with her name. As requested by some of my customers, the back of the display stand is hand-signed and dated by me.
