"You may fire when ready."  The one iconic Star Wars character that needs a new, updated figure is without a doubt, Grand Moff Tarkin. His last 3 3/4 inch The Vintage Collection figure came in 2012 with the VC98 release , which was criticized for having that dreadful fabric skirt and the green color on his uniform:       Nice skirt bro!  For this update, I used a TVC Moff Jerjerrod base, so the new Tarkin can benefit from all that beautiful new articulation, then I used a cast of the VC98 head and modded the rank insignia. There was really not much painting to be done here, so after a few fittings, Moff Tarkin was ready to blow up your planet....Well that got dark.
