Gargoyles ANGELA vintage style custom action figure by Hunter Knight Customs

 My next custom action figure is one of those near and dear to my heart: Angela from Gargoyles in vintage Kenner style! She was made in 2018 for a customer who wanted to complete his vintage collection.
The base was of course her mom, Demona. I had to dremel all of the costume pieces and carefully resculpt every muscle and bone of her body. (Her shoulders are still too wide in my opinion but eh). Her head however was sculpted in a way that did not allowed for an easy resculpt, so I had to replace it entirely with a cast of the DC Universe Classics Starfire head, and fit it seamlessly to the cranium.
I was really happy to work on this project because to me, Gargoyles was a fantastic show way ahead of it's time. The new Neca line is one of my absolute favorites and can't wait to have the gang updated with their new counterparts!
This however, won't be the last time I get to work on vintage Gargoyles...
